Hastings Fire Department Relief Association "Booya"

September 16, 2008 - The Hastings Fire Department Relief Association’s 68th annual “booya” was Sunday, and I was pleased to visit with numerous Dakota County residents attending the festivities at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hastings. Each year, the Hastings Fire Department Relief Association raises thousands of dollars from their booya, and it is truly a great event for the community. Firefighters and first responders are devoted to keeping our communities safe. It is always a privilege to spend time with true heroes.
